Preserving the art of handwoven rugs through generations since 1945.
A Family Tradition Since 1945
About Us
Muaz Kasimoğlu was born in Van, Turkey, into a family deeply rooted in the art of rug weaving. His grandfather and father founded the family rug business in 1945, building a tradition based on craftsmanship, authenticity, and respect for centuries-old weaving techniques.
As the business grew, the family moved to Istanbul in 1960 and opened a store in the historic Sultanahmet district an area known worldwide for its cultural heritage. That store, now over 60 years old, continues to showcase a carefully curated collection of antique and handwoven rugs.
In 2000, the family expanded to the United States, opening their first American store in San Francisco and later serving clients in Washington, D.C.
Today, as a third-generation representative of the family, Muaz Kasimoğlu continues this legacy with the same dedication to quality and tradition, offering handcrafted rugs that reflect timeless artistry and cultural heritage.
